Who are you?

Teacher, admin assisstant, dinner lady, paediatrician, nurse,
childminder, computer programmer are past and present occupations of our group members.We live within a 6 mile radius of Thurcaston where we meet at my house

How did you get started?

It was an evening class about 20 yrs ago. Our name was chosen in 5 min light-hearted discussion when school demanded a title for our class.(there weren't any men but we're quite happy if any wish to join). Some original members remain augmented by friends over the years.

How long have you been going?

Where and how often do you meet?

My house in Thurcaston, Leics cos it has wheelchair access and loo.
9 times a year. roughly 4-6 weekly avoiding school holidays due to children and teachers.

What sort of books do you read?

Mainly modern fiction, also historical fiction and classics.
some non-fiction

NO ONE liked it cos so boring- only finisher was Liz on transatlantic flight ; she hates it most!

Loved by 3 or 4(usually same ones) but rest just hated them or refused to read at all!
