I'd like to alert Bookgroup members to a special event at the British Library aimed at book lovers and gallery goers.

The British Library is hosting its first 'Mingle' - an opportunity for anyone who is single, likes to talk, and wants to make friends and network to meet and enjoy a drink - at a private view of its contemporary Chinese Prints exhibition and Treasures Gallery on Thursday 12th February.

Attractions include fantastic literary prizes (from Penguin and the Times Literary Supplement), Mingles chocolates from Bendicks and flirting and networking advice from Mary Balfour, founder of Drawing Down the Moon - plus the opportunity to see some of the world's greatest written treasures.

The event is free of charge but tickets must be booked in advance.
